Time passes and some things fade, like color on a polaroid photo; yet some things remain. In this installation series, Sarah uses the fact that polaroids fade as a metaphor, capturing moments, pushing us to see beyond what is altered by time (or by illness), to light up the essence of being and focus on what we cherish. This series is not only about the passing of time, but also about Sarah’s experience of navigating loss and how we construct, capture and hold on to memories as a way to connect us to people and places that transcend time and space.
