Unstuck

This is a series of collaborative pieces done during my Artist Residency in Motherhood with my son who was then 2 years old. Based on a map I created that represents the ways in which I got in my own way, got stuck creatively, my son was free to add color to this map in any ways he wanted to and whenever he was called to. The series developed as his motor skills did, as his technique and interests evolved and as he, like most children who are always free, changed the rules. The complete series is an ode to play, exploration and freedom.
